+ Online Radio Show Playing Car Crash I was googling some things, trying to see if any radio stations are playing Car Crash yet, and found an air/online radio program that has been playing Car Crash in their playlist. Maybe some of you have heard of it - Reg's Coffee House -"http://www.regscoffeehouse.com/". Right now it's the first song in the episode this week that can be played if you click at the top left and open where it says this week's show. It's not the best quality, but I haven't heard any of the album versions of the new songs and it still gave me goosebumps. Awesome! |

+ Online Radio Show Playing Car Crash Wow...easy there. Megan have you never taped something off the radio? Made mix tapes for your friends? Passed it along? This debate is never gonna end, fact of the matter is, I (like many other Matt fans) first heard Matt by "illegally" downloading his music. The point is, his music is so good that if you listen to ANY song of his you want to hear more, you want to see him live, you want to buy his merch, you want to meet him, & take pictures with him. Suree Matt's people might be pissed about this and im sure Matt himself might not be too happy. But either way this girl is sending the song to present fans and future Matt fans, so what's so wrong with that? Most of artists make most of their money through merch and concerts. Andddddd most likely at those concerts if they don't have his CD they will at least by one of them. Andd if you are like me, you will buy everything on the merch table. |

I guess it's maybe I come from the DMB community where we share music like crazy. It's not about the buck, but spreading the music. So I don't see it as a big deal. |

+ Online Radio Show Playing Car Crash I see both points of view here...I understand that a release date is set in stone for the album, etc. etc. But if it's the single, the more buzz the better! If it's a few days before the radio release date, it shouldn't matter. The goal is to get the song in as many places as possible...If that means doing it a few days early...not a huge deal. I'm going to buy the album no matter what- in fact, it's already pre-ordered... |

+ Online Radio Show Playing Car Crash I have to agree, Im not supporting of the fact that the CD is floating around, but I mean come on. Car Crash is on the radio, on an online radio show where anyone can listen to it. Its not like shes distributing something that isnt obtainable. I mean anyone could have taped it off the radio a few weeks ago in portland and have shared it all over the place. If you didnt want people to hear it yet you shouldnt have sent it to radio stations until 6/17. As a fan we are trying to respect wishes. No one is sharing the songs that were accidently posted on Vanguards site. Not too mention shes not sharing, the actual album cut which anyone who got it off vanguards site could have. Shes taped a radio show copy, Its something that was released to the public. |
