Some Mad Hope album leaked - derek 2007-06-06 10:03:25
It was only a matter of time before it happened but I have confirmation that the album Some Mad Hope has leaked onto a bit torrent site. The album was leaked yesterday at around 3pm and already been downloaded 266 times.
Edit: Please do not post or request links to the leaked cd as this is not the appropriate venue for illegal activity but rather acts as a conduit for informing the uninformed fan. Posts will be deleted and requests will be ignored. Thanks -Derek |

+ Some Mad Hope album leaked I was tempted to go find it but that wouldn't be right, especially since Matt isn't some huge fake celebrity rolling in money and hookers, he deserves better than this. I hope those people still buy the album when it comes out though. edit: I suppose some of you are right that sometimes leaks like these do bring more good than harm, but I still don't know. It's just always seemed.. not right to download 'under the radar' artist tracks for free, they're the ones that need more support than the big huge all over the world household name artists, that's just my take on it. |

+ Some Mad Hope album leaked I think most of them will, Everyone had the option of getting the live shows off archive but there was still a demand for the point so thats a good sign. Preorder is #1 at awarestore. So things look good for a day in to it! |

+ Some Mad Hope album leaked Good point. A friend of mine actually discovered Matt for the first time because of the unmentionable leak posted above... Why? It was listed in the top 10 "snatches" in this place that day, due to the number of downloads. Therefore he checked it out... He said he loved the sound of 'Some Mad Hope' like no other...next day, I was in his car, and saw new Beneath These Fireworks and Still Waiting For Spring CD jewel cases sitting in his car. Now I know it may not work for everyone...but I do know, because of this one particular incident, Nathanson has a new fan who purchased two of his older albums in a day. So sometimes it's not always a bad thing when these things happen...especially becasue inenvitably, it does happen anyway. |

+ Some Mad Hope album leaked ^^ I don't think I could have said it better myself. I have never seen leaks as a bad thing for an artist.. it only helps to build up the hype. Also... all the response to that torrent have been extremely positive. |

+ Some Mad Hope album leaked I for one will admit that a friend gave me a copy of the cd it's amazing but i fully intend not only to buy his cd but to use it as invitations to my birthday party in september..the legit cd that is not burned copies..this cd proves that matt is not just one of the most talented individuals out there today but perhaps..the most talented and i love a really wide and odd scope of music but this..tears were actually brought to my eyes by its greatness and..wow that's all i can say...also i know that whole invite thing sounds crazy but when you hear this..it's worth it to blow every ounce of cash i get on this cd for everyone to hear. |

+ Some Mad Hope album leaked I had already pre-oredered the CD when I came upon the leak tonight, and I would have ordered it anyways, but I just wanted to add that after listening to it, it is absolutely amazing. There is no let down here at all people, and "Bulletproof Weeks" brought me to tears...great job Matt. |

+ Some Mad Hope album leaked I know this is late as VH1's Leaked will be streaming this CD tomorrow. I (will not explain) got a hold of all but 2 of the songs (as well as 3 songs in versions that were in consideration, but didn't make the final CD)some time ago and the track listing isn't the same. i'll just see when I get my pre-order. |

+ Some Mad Hope album leaked Not sure how closely you have been following this leak story but apparently there are several versions of the album that have been leaked in various stages. I think half the tracks were even leaked from the Vanguard Records (matt's label) website. I'm pretty confident that the most recent leaked version (from radio stations etc..) will be the final production version and is the track list we have and Matt has made us aware of. |

I sent you some random laptop stuff a while ago, after the 2004 Iron Horse show. anyway, I was one who grabbed the 5 songs that vanguard put up briefly as well as 10 other songs supposedly from a studio source that went through someone at the OAR board. doesn't matter, i've got 2 pre-sale CD orders in as well as tickets for the 2 local (within 2 hours of here) shows. |
