+ What is unplugged all about? What do you mean when you list some of Matts songs as unplugged? If he's playing a song solo, it's pretty much implied that he's playing acoustic unplugged, but the term even appears in some of his last couple solo shows. What is this all about? |

+ What is unplugged all about? unplugged is completely unplugged. No amps or mics at all.. Solo shows he is still using the house PA system which amplifies the sound and puts it through the house speakers. What Matt has been doing for the very last song is unplugging from the house sound system, walking to the front of the stage and singing "unplugged" to the audience. Hope that clarifies everything!! |

+ What is unplugged all about? I'm not exactly positive why he does it. It appears as though its only the shows in which the audience is really attentive. I think its pretty nifty thing to do since Matts shows are pretty agressive. Its like having a slower intimate moment between Matt and the audience at the end of the show. |

+ What is unplugged all about? It's to create a closer connection with the audience. If he steps out in front (even off the stage sometimes) with nothing between you and him, it's somehow more pure and alive. Kinda like you're sitting around a campfire singing. Very very inspiring. |
