+ Acoustic Performance in Denver The local radio station is doing an acoustic concert here in Denver (on April 9) and Matt is going to be the headliner. My wife and I got tickets and are excited. Are Matt's acoustic shows different from the shows he does with the whole band? |

+ Acoustic Performance in Denver I have been looking for a couple of weeks for details on this show so that I could add the tour date here. Would you give us a link to the website that has info about this show? I've only been to one Matt acoustic show. It was a radio show that was free and there was little notice, so it may not be the same format (i.e. length) as the Denver radio show you have tickets for. The show I went to was about an hour long. Maybe you'll get a little longer show!?!? I really enjoyed seeing Matt play acoustically. It's a different experience, but good in different ways. I'm a huge fan of acoustic performances -- I like the stripped down versions of songs for a change of pace. Also, when he plays acoustically, it seems that you may get to hear a number of songs that you may not normally hear with the full band. |

+ Acoustic Performance in Denver I prefer his acoustic shows to his band shows. Not only is he an amazing acoustic singer, which shows his true talent. But he is absolutely HILARIOUS! It is like a concert and one man comedy show all in one because he has the leeway to be able to talk and harass his fans and include them. My fiancee was the tallest guy at one of his shows and for some reason Matt just kept picking on him...aboslute riot! I have been to 2 of his acoustic shows in Boston and I am praying for another one to come this way! Consider yourselves very lucky!! |
