+ Show Tonight? Is Matt playing the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis tonight? I saw a posting saying "Natt Nathanson" then I called KS95 (A radio station here to inquire) and they said it was Matt Nathanson. But I see he's out on the East Coast right now so what's going on? Can anyone confirm this? |

+ Show Tonight? Here's your answer. Looks like Matt sneaked away from the east coast for a bit. From the KS95 website (it took some digging!): "Tuesday, June 16, 2009, 12:51 PM Yet another awesome LIVE 95 show last night at the Varsity Theater in Dinkytown!! The show kicked off with Rob Thomas singing "Lonely No More" followed by his hits "Ever The Same" & "Her Diamonds". He also did a special version of their Matchbox 20 hit "3AM" on the keyboard, which sounded sweet. Matt Wertz jumped on next and did his hit "Everythings Right" and a number of other good songs. Matt Nathanson took the stage last and did a wild show which included his hit "Come On Get Higher", a cover of "Jessie's Girl" and the grand finale of Journey's "Dont Stop Believing" which included a bunch of crazy backup dancers from the crowd!! The show lived up to the hype, and I would say it was the best LIVE 95 yet!" I've never seen Matt so well "backed up" as he is in one of the pictures on the site. |
