While Matt was doing a recent benefit show in Los Angeles for VH1's Save the Music Foundation he did an interview with L.A.'s Examiner.com. It's a good interview. This is the part that caught our eye:
"EXAMINER: Do you have any touring plans for the summer? NATHANSON: Yes, I have tour dates with Sugarland, [Indigo] Girls and some with [OAR]. Then in the fall I will be doing a headlining tour." The rest of the article is worthy of reading too, but news about a possible headlining tour is pretty exciting! |

+ Sounds like Matt is headlining in the fall!!! Hey, I was there! I am the guy up front and center. I couldn't believe I was so up close listening to Matt. He was the nicest guy. He took pictures with my wife and me. You have no idea what I went through to get those passes. Anyway, it was a night to remember. It was just him and Aaron and they were amazing. I remember the guy in the Kiss shirt. Matt really liked the shirt. How this guy isn't selling out arenas is just baffling. In a way, I like it like this. Kind of our little secret. What a talent. |

+ Sounds like Matt is headlining in the fall!!! Matt said on Sunday that there are NO headlining US dates on the horizon. That is sad on one hand, but COMPLETELY understandable on the other. The boy has to need a break! He will tour in Australia in October. Someone mentioned that he announced this on myspace, but I missed it and couldn't find the details of the plans in Australia. Maybe someone else can find it and put a link here. |
