+ Taper needs help. I am a huge Matt fan, and have taped a number of his shows (mostly 2003-2005), the last of which being Columbus, OH 09-29-2008. (Which was a fantastic show, setlist & reviews are here) Unfortunately, shortly after that show my computer that had all of my audio editing and tracking software on it had the hard drive die and I lost all of that software. Considering that was the last show I went to (and taped) and it's now almost 3 years later and I'm a college student scraping by, I currently don't have the means or time to replace the software and track the show, etc etc. But by some minor miracle my Microtrack recorder is still alive and kicking and the WAV file of the entire show is safely saved on it, and I'm backing it up to a couple places now for safe-keeping. |

+ Taper needs help. If there is another taper out there who has some free time on their hands, and wouldn't mind mastering the show and splitting up the tracks, I would love to get it out there for everyone to enjoy. The recording itself is pretty good quality, really should just need some volume boosting and I'd be happy as a clam with it. If you'd want to clean it up more than that, it's up to you. I will also be going to Matt's show at the same venue in Columbus, OH (Newport Music Hall) on October 11th and am planning on taping. And thanks to the generosity of a friend I will also be going to his show in Pittsburgh on October 2nd and hopefully taping that as well (though I have never been to that venue before so no guarantees). If either or both of those recordings should turn out I could use some help getting them out too. My current rig is SP-CMC-2s (AT831s) > SP-SPSB-6 (w/ bass rolloff @107Hz) > M-Audio Microtrack 24/96 (16bit/44.1k). Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Anyway, on the long shot that someone sees this and would be interested in helping out, please email me at tylendel33 @ gmail.com (no spaces) and we can figure out how to get the WAV files transferred and such. |
