+ Community Questions Hey Guys - I've been considering expanding the PTW.com idea for a while now and was looking for some feedback on things. I was curious how many other band fan sites you visit outside of ptw.com on a fairly regular basis? What keeps you coming back to these sites? Is it the message boards or something else? Where do you get most of your information on artists - facebook, emails, friends etc.. What are your favorite features of ptw.com? What features do we not have that you wish we had? |

+ Community Questions I'll give a serious answer, lol I follow a lot of bands in terms of music and concerts but only go to one other artist's website/community. A big difference with that one is that there is high-volume traffic and a very die-hard fanbase that captures everything. The 2 things I like the most: --A fan moderator keeps concert threads for each show. It will contain the setlist for each show plus links to all videos recorded. People also posts recaps. This fanbase is extremely connected and everything is captured and shared. --Fans record all TV appearances and radio & print interviews and links are posted Some people get really into analyzing the music, the lyrics, the sales charts and speculating on the music business, though I don't get into that as much. |

+ Community Questions The biggest features as far as I'm concerned are the forums and the setlist archive (where members can keep track of their shows, too, that's amazing) The only other 'fan forums' I really use are for the Dave Matthews Band |

+ Community Questions I'll agree that the best feature is the message board. I love being able to come check setlists and reviews on recent shows. Also, with Matt I like to check out recordings so I come here to check and see if anyone's posted a new recording. Like the poster above me said, if there was a thread on each show with setlist, reviews and links to any video/recordings that would be awesome. |

+ Community Questions Another thought - another good thread at other site is "ticket angel" where people post where they need tix or if they have tix to sell (not high scalped prices). Not sure if that would work with traffic here but it was extremely useful! For example, I now have 2 tix for Northampton show available, 6th row if anyone is interested! |

+ Community Questions Derek, you know how you have a section on the setlist pages where if someone puts tape up you can view that? How about being able to tag youtube videos to a specific show? So you can look at the setlist page and see whats on youtube for that show. |

+ Community Questions What I would most like to see on PTW is improved navigation - I'd like to see a tab for the message board next to Members, because 1/2 the times I visit the site I can't figure out how to access all the messages (even though the "View All" link is right there in front of me!). The general format of the msg board is not as user friendly as other sites I visit (specific example - I preferred the forum on MN's website, which doesn't seem to be very active anymore). The feature of PTW that I love the most is keeping track of my attendance and being able to see how many times I've heard a particular song. Thanks for all you do, Stasia |

+ Community Questions Just checking back in with you guys. All of these ideas are great and most of them are actually already in the works. I plan on taking this idea way beyond Matt so we'll see what happens. Sharing videos/pictures and tagging them with shows/artists, checking archive.org more regularly to post updates, a better message board, and facebook like feeds.
