+ Taping policy? Hi there... I know the old Matt forums are pretty much dead, so I thought I would try asking here. I am planning on taping Matt's show in Cleveland 11-3-13 at House of Blues (audio only). Admittedly I haven't been to a show at HoB in years, but last I went (~2005) they wouldn't let you in with gear unless the artist had notified them of an open taping policy. Do you guys think I'll have any trouble getting my gear in for Matt's show? I am also planning on taping the show in Columbus, but I know the Newport never cares. Also, are they doing M&Gs after the shows this tour again with wristbands? Or does anyone know? Just curious... Thanks! |

+ Taping policy? Thanks, I am hoping I will be able to post both shows to archive in a few weeks. I also have 2 recordings from 2011 and one from 2008 that I don't think have made it on archive yet, so I will work on getting those up too. :) |

+ Taping policy? HOB is always a pain. Matt is very open to taping however he isn't aggressively making the venues aware of it like some artists. If you have the ability to drive to the venue just be prepared to return to your car and go back in to the show. |

+ Taping policy? They surprisingly did not give me any trouble, but I got there very early and asked one of the security staff about the taping policy and they gave me the OK. I'll have the recording up on archive as soon as I can get a few hours with a non-throttled internet connection, I'm pretty happy with how it came out. (Granted my gear is nowhere near as nice as most of you other Matt tapers out there, but I try.) |
