"Falling Apart" by Matt Nathanson from the album "Some Mad Hope" Tuning: EADGBe (standard) Tab by: Brian Zilm (ledvedderman on prettytheworld.com) Here's my tab for "Falling Apart". The only part I am not totally sold on is the bridge. I have it starting off with an E. When I see Matt play it it looks like an E, but it also might be some form of an A chord. Play around with it and I'm sure you will get it. The bulk of the song relies on three main chords. B B/F# B/G# E x 2 4 A 2 x x D 4 4 4 G 4 4 4 B x x x e x x x Verse: (just listen for the changes, they are easy to pick out) B - B/F# - B/G# - B Pre-Chorus: ("am I no good to you now?") B/F# - B/G# - B Chorus: ("whooa...are we spilling over?") B - B/F# - B/G# Bridge: ("All I say...") **note- this is where I'm not 100% certain, but it looks close to what Matt plays** E - B - C# - G# ("I've given up, so call my bluff") E - B - A (hold the A for a couple bars) That pretty much does it. Let me know if you have any corrections/suggestions. If nothing else, this is a good start.
